User Experience Advisor

We’re looking for UX professionals to design software to take on the world’s toughest energy challenges. Job Responsibilities:
• You’ll help our business units envision long-term UX strategies that will knit together our IT projects and UX teams across organization. You’ll coordinate the UX design for the service that assembles our individual digital experiences into a single coherent experience for the Upstream.
• We need your in-depth experience with designing user experiences. You’ll coach other designers and user researchers how to do their best work, and you’ll advise on UX training curriculum.
• Organization's UX program is growing. We need your hiring expertise. You’ll help us recruit and hire to develop a strong talent pipeline for UX.
• You will provide UX oversight with agencies and partners where we have outsourced design work to ensure designs are consistent with our internal design standards.
• You know clever ways to make complex things simple. We need your help in unlocking those challenges on our hardest design problems. You’ll help design teams that are stuck on wicked design challenges get unstuck through your wide knowledge of design patterns and methods.

Desired Skills or Experience:
• 10+ years of UX experience
• 5+ years of experience in complex technical domains.
• 3+ years of leading design teams of 4 or more.
