Position Description:

The IT Business Office (ITBO) Governance and Communications (Gov and Com) team delivers a diverse set of services both internally to the ITBO teams and externally to the IT community. These include leading Agile adoption for all 15 ITBO non-software development teams, Compliance Services, ITBO service branding on customer facing sites, communications to the IT Community and creation of a ITBO Knowledge Management system. As a member of an Agile team the candidate’s primary responsibility will be to lead the Agile adoption for the ITBO but they will also be expected to work on the variety of other services that the Gov and Com team is responsible for.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • 3+ years of proven decisive leadership in Agile adoption for non-software development teams that include: 
  • Effective use of facilitation and negotiation skills to lead multiple governance forums (e.g. backlog grooming, SCRUM meetings, Release and Iteration Reviews and Demos, Stand-ups, etc.) 
  • Ability to coach, mentor and guide teams in Agile principles and practices 
  • Identifying, creating and tacking meaningful metrics to aid in guiding teams on a continued path to improvement 
  • Management of Issues and Risks 
  • Strong written, verbal and collaboration skills with a global team 

Must have demonstrated in prior positions: 

  • Self-starter and highly motivated; using sound business judgment and exhibiting strong leadership qualities 
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills; ability to construct quality deliverables and to work on multiple assignments simultaneously 
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to details, and a strong commitment to quality 
  • Desire to learn and make a difference 

Must have skills: 

  • CA Agile Central (formally Rally) 
  • Backlog management, Release/Iterations, Dependencies, Milestones, Reporting, etc. 
  • SharePoint 
  • SharePoint administration (e.g. creating/maintain a portfolio of sites, efficient use of access groups, etc.) and common SharePoint features (e.g. modify pages, create lists, maintain appropriate access, etc.)
  • Strong MS SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint skills

Skills & Experience Preferred:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst or Knowledge Management Documentation
  • Compliance auditing 
  • Prior Ford Experience

Education Required: 

B.S. Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience in the requested field
