Responsibilities
The Configuration Specialist (CS) role is responsible for the configuration, testing and implementation of Rewards earning and redemption capabilities across our various platforms. Execution of ad-hoc reporting to support issue management and run-the-engine efforts within the team is also required. Candidate will often drive work streams within larger initiatives.
* Educates internal customers on rewards functionality and design options
* Assesses viability of new rewards product configurations/requirements
* Supports the configuration of Rewards earning and redemption capabilities as well as digital content
* Provides business campaign support 
* Works on cross-functional teams to implement new rewards products; may drive work stream
* Partners with Tech to integrate new technology/infrastructure enhancements into the business as usual environment
* Proactively manages risks in both individual and team delivery processes
* Defines and maintains test cases with expected outcomes for rewards configuration testing
* Performs test execution, both automated and manual, within complex integrated systems
* Creates and executes queries on rewards data in data warehouses for testing and audit purposes
* Ensures the logging, tracking, communication, and resolution of testing issues and defects
* Facilitates testing outcome walkthrough meetings
* Audits existing rewards program portfolio and assists in the remediation of findings
* Drives improvements to existing testing processes, methods, and tools

Qualifications
* College Degree or equivalent work experience (preferably in technical field)
* Detail-oriented with strong time management & organizational abilities
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
* Quick learner and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
* Proven analytical ability and effective influencing skills
* Highly motivated and able to work both independently and within teams
* Able to articulate technical information to non-technical peers and leadership
* Knowledge of basic testing methodology and documenting test plans, execution results, and gathering and evaluating test metrics for test reporting
* Basic knowledge of Process Management Methodology (1-2 yrs experience)
* Proficiency with G-suite

Technical Skills/Tools Required
* Ability to query and interpret data stored across multiple data sources (i.e. Postgres, Cassandra, Mongo, etc.)
* Working knowledge or experience with different database structures (relational, noSQL) and query techniques
* Working knowledge or experience with writing/executing automated test cases

Work Schedule
* Hours are M-F approximately 9:00 to 5:00 with some flexibility
