QA Specialist - Sr

You'll be working on a newly launched customer-facing web application primarily responsible for developing the system’s user interface using cutting-edge open source frameworks, highly-available RESTful services, and progressive back-end systems. Although your primary responsibility will be to ensure the product performs as desired, you'll get an opportunity to work across the entire stack using emerging and traditional technologies such as: GoLang, node.js, AngularJS, REST, JSON, XML, HTML5, CSS, relational databases, and AWS to name a few.
Develop and continuously improve testing practices and strategies including functional, performance, regression, and roll-back testing scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
Responsible for end-to-end testing through the use of both manual and automated testing techniques
Produce reports and documentation for all testing efforts, results, activities, data, logging, and tracking.
Establish goals and objectives for appropriate testing cycles.
Partner with the development team to leverage CI/CD processes for test automation
Provide the product owner/manager with the right information to allow them to make data driven release decisions
Bachelor’s degree or Military experience
At least 5 years in QA/Performance engineer role
At least 4 years of experience with Selenium, Cucumber, Junit, SoapUI, or Postman
At least 3 years of experience with ATDD (Acceptance Test Driven Development)
At least 3 years of experience writing test scripts
At least 2 years of experience with performance testing using open source tools: LoadRunner and JMeter
At least 2 years of experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins
At least 2 years of experience with AWS architecture, concepts, and tools
At least 1 year of experience with git
At least 1 year of experience in agile development methodology
Experience with GoLang, Java, or Angular
Experience in code coverage tools and security analysis
Experience in application monitoring using AppDynamics, Dynatrace or New Relic, Splunk, or ELK
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar RDBMS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
