What will you do?

  • Responsible for LSS Project Provisioning:
    • Review and access global mobile computing requirements in support of clinical systems, trials and associated environments.

    • Provide procurement support, timelines and costs for logistics planning for documentation such as proposals and timelines

    • Proactively review mobile computing capabilities, including telecom, global availability and languages.

    • Manage provisioning vendors and partners.

    • Review global shipping vendor options, costs, and global capabilities.  Assess import and export necessary documentation and costs.

    • Manage partner depots and coordinate activity between locations.

    • Proactively communicates project status, issues and risks to management.

    • Manage provisioning resources.

  • Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Manages inventory, hardware purchases as well as warranty management.
  • Establishes clear ownership of project tasks; tracks progress to ensure deadlines are met appropriately.
  • Manages day-to-day operational aspects of a project (scope, tasks, budget, etc.).
  • Assists in developing and maintaining departmental SOPs, Work Practices, and Policies etc.
  • Effectively applies our methodology and enforces project standards.
  • Assesses provisioning issues and identifies solutions to meet productivity, quality and Stakeholder goals.
  • Works collaboratively with Operations, Development, project management and support staff to maintain thorough knowledge of capabilities and solutions and to ensure that all communication between the Project team and Stakeholders is precise.
  • Provides input to timelines, resource requirements, and provides logistical support on LSS projects.
  • Collaborates in the design, development and maintenance of LSS projects and provides cross-functional team  and Vendor support if required
  • Performs application testing and prepares documentation as required.
  • Ensures provisioning team adherence to SOPs/Working practices and works toward consistent process improvement
  • Knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software and equipment. 
  • Skill in technical planning of information technology projects. 
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management, cross functional teams and provisioning direct reports. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent problem analysis and solving capabilities.
  • Ability to handle stress and frequent and extended interruptions.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player
  • Responsible for process improvement initiatives related to LSS Provisioning Management.
  • Mentor role for other provisioning staff within the LSS Department.
  • Supports Business Development on client visits and proposal preparation by Management
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What do you need to succeed?

  • Bachelor's degree or four (4) years of related education , experience, or training, in a distributed computing environment, Clinical Research, healthcare, or customer service environment
  • Knowledge of current and emerging technologies, service delivery processes, clinical practices, and mobile computing
  • Logistics and telecom experience necessary
  • Skilled at time management and strong written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to remain poised, patient, and respectful in difficult situations.
  • Experience with project rollout on a global scale.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.  
  • Excellent interpersonal and organization skills required. 
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and work within a team environment. 
  • Must have computer and technical knowledge.  
  • Experience with vendor management.
  • Knowledge of software development and testing preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in cross-functional project management methods, teams and techniques. 
  • Knowledge of information technology applications, processes, software and equipment. 
  • Skill in technical planning of information technology projects. 
  • Skill in working with groups to build consensus. 
  • Experience in setting up standard processes for shipping and logistics
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior management and direct reports. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent problem analysis and solving capabilities.
  • Vendor management and negotiation
  • Ability to handle stress and frequent and extended interruptions.
  • Ability to work independently and be a team player
  • Ability to deliver engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
  • Understanding of current 21 CFR Part 11 requirements and software validation guidelines applicable to conduct of clinical research.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, and PowerPoint.
