Supply Chain/Procurement Support: Provides administrative and clerical support specifically related to supply chain and procurement department activities. Maintains files, logs, records of invoices, purchase orders and other related documentation. Maintains information on computer systems. Assists in expediting orders. May assist buyers in contacting vendors to obtain prices and schedule delivery dates. May develop and maintain resources for assigned commodity items. Prepares standard requests for quotation. Assignments may require initiative regarding pricing revisions, order cancellations, discontinued items, acceptable substitutes, delivery date revisions and invoice discrepancies. ‚Äč Job Responsibilities:

  • Process software procurement requests on a daily basis
  • Check queues and process software requests and validate proper licensing when required
  • Confirm accuracy of information entered in databases
  • Compare data entered with source documents
  • Review and make necessary corrections to information entered
  • Compile, sort, and verify accuracy of data to be entered
  • Process various forms
  • Mentor junior-level Procurement Administrators
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Licenses, Knowledge, Education and Training Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience
  • MS Access experience
  • Familiarity with databases and procurement activities
  • Procurement knowledge
  • Experience with Remedy ticketing tool or similar
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to interact with others and maintain good working relationships
  • Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines and/or SLAs
  • Ability to follow instructions furnished in verbal or written format
  • Ability to handle the fast-paced Procurement process
  • Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
