Audio Visual Technical Support Analyst

Some of the responsibilities for this technical support will include: 
• L3 escalation point for local Area Ops on all solutions and products within the AV Portfolio
• Testing and troubleshooting AV Products and solutions 
• Commissioning Conference rooms and AV products/solutions 
• Executing changes and/or coordinating changes with local area operations 
• Project and Business consulting Leads for Standard AV Products and Solutions
• Maintaining AV documentation
• User & Area Ops Training
• Monitor component performance & processing capacity (Fusion, VC, Appspace)
• Requesting virtual infrastructure and storage capacity to the service component
• Develop capacity plans/forecasts for Service Component (Fusion, VC, Appspace)
• Analyze and generate reports and metrics
• Service change implementation

Technical system supported include (but not limited to): 
• General Audio Video Systems (Crestron Products, Barco Clickshare and Transform N, AppleTV/iOS, Polycom Trio and CX5500, Various brands of DSP, various display technologies) 
• Visualization (3D, ultra-high resolution, remote collaboration technology) 
• Video Conferencing Infrastructure and Endpoints (Polycom, Cisco, and Skype) 
• Facilities Audio Video (digital signage – AppSpace), virtual reception, Crestron Fusion) 
• Streaming (Webcasting) - Basic Network Infrastructure, DNS, Active Directory, Skype 

Other requirements:
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience installing and servicing audiovisual systems; broadcast AV system or similar technology
• Experience interpreting system drawings
• Current familiarity with commercial audiovisual, videoconferencing and broadcast manufacturers of equipment, including some direct training.
• Manufacturer training and/or sufficient experience servicing audio visual processors and other related sub‐systems as needed to properly maintain Customer deployed systems
• Training and experience servicing Digital Signal Processors (DSP) equipment
• Training and experience servicing Video Teleconference equipment specifically Polycom endpoint and backend infrastructure
• ICIA Certified (CTS) (CTS‐D preferred)
• Strong computer skills including PC‐based applications such as: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint), Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Project, Internet Explorer, etc.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi‐task
• Reasonably Skilled at Technical Writing
• Strong Team player
• Ability to help train lesser skilled team members in proper industry standards
• Self‐sufficient, self‐motivated, organized, reliable and punctual
• Professional demeanor and good people skills including the ability to interact well with Customers, office personnel, field technicians, engineers, sales, vendors, and upper management, etc.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to schedule commitments
• Professional business casual attire
• Provide own reliable transportation
• Perform routine preventive maintenance checks & services on AV/VTC systems
• Perform advanced routine maintenance support on all AV systems 
• Provide Show Tech Support of planned events, both onsite and off, as needed
• Work flexible schedule as required

• Biamp Audia Certification
• ClearOne Specialist Certification
• Crestron Certified Programmer
